City Stats Blog Series -- The VA Peninsula

As REALTORS®, we feel like part of our job is to provide information about the cities we service and the areas in which we work.  However, it gets kind of sticky when providing our clients with actual statistics because they change so often and we don’t want to appear bias towards one area over another.  So when we had a sales meeting last week and we found out about a great new resource for city data, we thought we should share it with all of you!!  So we’ll be doing a blog series on the cities of the VA Peninsula (Newport New, Hampton, Williamsburg, York County, James City County and Poquoson).

Obviously, if you live here or are near here some of this information won’t be a surprise.  But for those of you who don’t, and who may be searching for some information, this will hopefully be a good start!

Let me close by saying we LOVE this area!  And there are so many reasons why, but this series isn’t about what we like and don’t like, but rather about statistics and providing you with a resource!  All of the data comes from www.city-data.com, so go there for more information and sources!

And of course if you want more information on sales stats, absorption rates, or ANY thing Real Estate related don’t hesitate to call us or email us!  (757-876-9621 or Shannon@ShannonEdwardsHomes.com)
