Joining the The Shannon Edwards Team!

Hi, I wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself! My name is Hannah DuVal and as you know from the last post, I’ve joined The Shannon Edwards Team!  Part of why I love this team is because of the “our business is personal” mentality.  But in order to get up close and personal, I think I need to tell you a little bit about who I am!

**I was born and raised into the world of real estate. My grandfather, Raymond DuVal started The DuVal Group in 1983. I have followed my family footsteps as my father, two older brothers, and older sister have all done by joining DuVal as real estate agents.  So I guess you could say real estate is in my blood!

**I received my Real Estate license in 2011 and I am now proud to say that I am a part of the Shannon Edwards Team as a buyer’s agent. I am so excited to start this new chapter in my career as I am learning from the best and I know I will gain so much knowledge from Shannon and Christen.

Now, let’s get to the good stuff…

My boyfriend Brent and I live in Smithfield VA. We live on 12 acres and love every bit of it. Some of my favorite things to do include gardening and taking care of the yard. We have a yellow lab named Cam who is insanely spoiled. I also love going to the beach and kayaking in the York River. Family is a huge part of my life! I have 2 brothers and a sister (I am the youngest out of the 4 of us). I have 2 nephew’s and 3 nieces. Family is what makes coming to work every day a little easier. 

**One of the things I love about my job is going house hunting!  I thrive on the challenge of finding each and everyone one of our clients the home that as close to perfect for their needs as possible!  I also love, love, love home decorating, so needless to say, I love seeing different homes and helping my clients envision what the end product could look like with a little elbow grease and a few cosmetic changes. 

I could go on and on about myself, my family and real estate but I hope this gives you a small glimpse into my life and real estate career. I look forward to working with you, please contact me or my team if you ever need anything.
