Back In Action

Finally our team is back together and back in action! After what has felt like a very short maternity leave (3 weeks) I came back to work part time. Before I departed for Harper's arrival I gave my notice that I would not be returning as the managing broker of DuVal Realtors' Newport News office and that I would be returning to what I LOVED most about Real Estate which was interacting with my clients!

So, I moved my office (and all the "stuff" I had aquired within it) and left on maternity leave.  Needless to say, I left looking at piles and piles of things that needed to be sorted through and organzied once I came back.  But to my surprise, my amazing mom and sister (Christen) completely revamped our new office by the time I returned! Our office now has that cozy "homey" feel we hope to find for our clients everyday on the job! The biggest surprise was the custom vinyl letter they got made that says our slogan (see picture above). Thank goodness for now having a wall of windows, I get a little bit of sunshine in my days! :)  My office before just had an interior window.  Gotta love the natural light! 

As much as I love love love my little Harper, I am pumped to be back to work and helping some awesome clients buy and sell Real Estate.  2011 is going to be a fantastic year for Christen and I and we hope you will follow us on our great journey of being sisters (and mommies now too) in business together, making a difference in the lives of our community, family and friends!  

Can't forget to mention our Real Estate Fairy Godmother! She brings us wisdom and harmony everday! :)
