Hands down the best place to eat is Smithfield Station on the Pagan River over in Isle of Wight Co.
I used to love going for bike rides during the spring and fall back along the James River across Lions Bridge and stopping to feed the ducks there and just looking out at the water. And the Neptune Festival that Va. Beach puts on at the end of summer every year brings in professional sand sculptures from all over the world. They create the most amazing masterpieces out of the same material that we have all been trying to build a sand castle out of sense we were in diapers, and they make it look so easy! I miss it back there I could go on and on about the things I love about home!
Hampton Roads is completely surrounded by water. There are so many beaches and numerous outdoor activities! You can be at the beach one day and travel a few hours the next to get to the mountains! Hampton Roads has it all!
