One Week Down - Approximately 51 To Go!
The first week of 2010 has already flown by! This week The Shannon Edwards Team sat down to create a list of new year's resolutions that we will live by for the next 51 weeks!
1. Reconnect with old friends,
2. Stay healthy and physically fit,
3. And finally, increase the success of our Hampton Roads Real Estate business in this ever changing market.
Now the reconnecting part is really quite simple, call old friends, go out for lunch/dinner/etc. It is #2 and #3 that I believe will be our biggest challenge.
Many of you know that about a year and a half ago we joined Sentara Fitness Center in Hampton. GREAT experience, wonderful people, and amazing facility. We have been working out religiously throughout that time on average 4 days a week. For all of you out there who have ever tried to loose wiegh, you will know that working out is only one part of the equation. So this year, we are going to tackle the other part - Eating Habits. While by no means to we eat unhealthy, however, our skipping breakfast, diet coke addicted ways have got to change. So stay tuned, we will be posting some fun stuff about this adventure too!
#3!!!!! With Christen joining the team, we hope to bring on new clients and reach the home buyers and sellers in Hampton Roads, Virginia in new ways this year. One of my (Christen) big goals is to maximize our online platforms and faithfully execute our monthly client appreciation program. We plan on sending something of value out every month from now until....well until we retire! So if you don't get our January one, please let us know, we'll add your name and address to our list. This month was really about kicking off the year and letting everyone know all the great things that have been happening for The Shannon Edwards Team over the last year. Along with that, we included a yummy egg nog recipe. Stay tuned for next months mailing with lots of great information about filing your taxes as a homeowner and some info about the tax credit!
I hope you enjoy our blog this year and remember, we welcome ideas for future blogs and thoughts on how we can improve! Happy New Year everyone!!
