With all the bad news about the National Real Estate market, I thought maybe you all would like to hear something good. So hear it goes...

MULTIPLE OFFERS are still out there, even here in Hampton Roads!

I just had a condo sell for full asking price and the sellers had to pay NO closing costs! It's the best scenario the sellers could have asked for! We received two offers on the property within the first month of it being on the market, a statement that is uttered far less now then a few years back.

How can you achieve this on your home? PRICE it right and STAGE it right! This home was priced accurately and it was staged to perfection. My clients did every recommendation I gave them, PLUS some! It was amazing. They forgot about what they liked and focused on what would be most appealing to the general public! That is the key!

The Virginia Association of Realtors is reporting good news about our state as well! Reports show that while most of the Nation has seen decreasing housing prices in the 3rd quarter of '08, The Commonwealth of Virginia has shown a 1.4% increase in home prices from the 3rd quarter in '07! The average home price was reported at $305,004 for the third quarter of '08. The big industries and high number of military bases in our area really help us sustain. We have seen a decrease in Hampton Roads but nowhere near the loss that some other area's of the U.S. have experienced.
